Styling safeguards now read the default view, not the small-screen one

Refined the automated checks protecting the admin screens so they read the styles that apply by default rather than accidentally picking up small-screen or dark-mode variations, and so a broken stylesheet is reported clearly instead of quietly skipping the checks.
