Consider this a public service announcement, for those of you who don't know better: Please don't TYPE IN CAPS. Those of us who live in the technology world equate typing in caps to screaming, and quite literally we hear a screaming voice in our heads every time we read an email written in all caps. If you don't believe me, try this definition from Wikipedia:
On Internet chat systems and Usenet, typing in all capitals is considered rude, the large letters akin to shouting or yelling within the social context. On a more practical level, caps lock may be difficult to read. A user who excessively uses capital letters may be advised to "lay off the caps lock."
If you're still not convinced, please read this email & IM etiquette posting. Oh, and thank you for not shouting. :)
